Quality without compromise
The most important goal of LED line LAB is to create and verify products so that they meet all, even the most restrictive directives and standards, which is the company’s current standard. The immense attention with which we treat product quality, i.e. its faultlessness, durability and safety, results in 99.54% compliance, i.e. our complaint rate is only 0.46%.
Quality tests are conducted on a continuous basis and apply to each batch of products – the condition for release for sale is a positive and complete quality test. Thanks to this, we are sure that in the hands of our customers get products with which there are no problems either at the stage of sale, at the stage of investment implementation, or at the stage of use.
In search of optimal solutions
The R&D department’s task is to develop new products according to market expectations and needs. A full process is carried out – from conception, through prototyping, to production and implementation. Thanks to the analyses carried out, we know what products should be introduced to make the LED line offer as complementary and optimized as possible, and thus bring a higher level of return on investment.
Equipment at the highest level available
The investments made in the LED line LAB enable us to achieve the highest quality parameters, which is especially appreciated by our business partners.
The laboratory has been equipped with:
Photometric darkroom, equipped with GL OPTIC goniometer, GLG 30-1800 Gonio spectrometer, programmable AC/DC laboratory power supplies supplied by ITECH and dedicated GL Spectrosoft software. The kit allows C-type measurements in C-coordinates and γ-angles (gamma), electrical values, flux measurements, light distribution, creation of polar and cone diagrams, determination of color rendering indexes (Ra, CRI), CCT color temperature and Duv, McAdam ellipses. It also enables the generation of EULUMDAT and IES files.
Luminous and radiation test bench – equipped with a GL OPTI SHERE 2000 sphere with an inner diameter of 2 m, designed for luminous flux and radiation measurements of large luminaires. LAB is also equipped with a GL Opti Sphere 500 for small luminaires / lamps. It can measure luminous flux and radiation according to CIE S025 and LM79 standards. The station is also equipped with a GL Spectis 1.0 Touch + Flicker spectrometer with GL Opti Sphere 48 – a small-sized sphere. The kit allows measurements for a single LED chip. With this portable kit, lab engineers measure light intensity (lx), color temperature (CCT), color rendering (CRI), television lighting consistency index (TLCI), as well as optical parameters: flicker and frequency, flicker percentage, SVM (strobe effect meter).
EMC measuring station – a set consisting of the FPC1000 spectrum analyzer and HM6050-2 artificial network provided by Rohde&Schwarz. Measurements are performed in accordance with PN-EN 55015 standards. PN-EN 55025 standard is performed using TBOH01 5uH LISN artificial network supplied by TEKBOX company. EMC measurements are an integral part of the product testing process in the LED line laboratory.
Aging test stand – equipped with a LISUN SY2036 device for testing products under extremely harsh conditions.
Harmonic emissions test stand – a device measuring the permissible levels of harmonic emissions of electric current in accordance with IEC 61000-3-2, Chroma Digital Power Meter 66205 performing measurements in accordance with the assumptions of IEC 61000-4-7. In addition, the device performs measurements of standby power consumption in accordance with IEC 62301.
Thermal studies – infrared temperature measurement with FLIR E8 series devices gives us the opportunity to visualize the thermal distribution propagating on the housing of luminaires and light sources. Infrared image analysis allows us to select the right components to ensure adequate heat dissipation from the LED.
LISUN TMP16 16-channel temperature meter (temperature measurement accuracy of 0.5% in the range of -40 to 300°C), which allows us to measure and record over time the temperature of individual components of a lighting fixture at different locations simultaneously.
Expert support for designers
With the ability to generate authoritative IES and EULUMDAT files, designers working with us can create designs with a high degree of precision, which is particularly valuable given the expectations of the market, especially the investment market. We support designers in creating precise lighting designs, which are the basis for successful investments. In the photometric darkroom, we measure C-type coordinates and γ (gamma) angles, electrical values, luminous flux measurements, light distribution. We create polar and cone diagrams, determine color rendering indexes (Ra,CRI), CCT and Duv color temperatures, and McAdam ellipses. All together – we generate high-quality photometric files that, when imported into Dialux or Relux programs, allow you to select the right type and number of luminaires for any type of project.
Education that builds the future of the market
The LED market is growing rapidly, and thus becoming more demanding. Our task, therefore, is not only to offer the most effective products and solutions, but also to constantly share our knowledge and experience. Education raises the level of market expectations, and we are ready to meet them. We provide training to our strategic business partners, distributors, customers and employees.
We are also open to sharing our knowledge of photometry with engineering students. We cordially invite institutions and any entities whose representatives are interested in organizing and conducting training for their students to contact us.
