2. Warranty period
– Selected LED line products covered by the extended warranty programme are guaranteed for 84 months (7 years) from the date of purchase, subject to registration of the product on the manufacturer’s website.
3. Warranty conditions
The warranty is valid provided that the following conditions of use are met:
– The product has been registered on https://ledline.pl/en/7-year-warranty/ within 30 days from the date of purchase.
– The product is included in the list of products covered by the extended warranty option:
– The standard operating time covered by the warranty is up to 4,000 hours in 12 months (average ~11 hours per day). Using the product continuously for longer periods of time may cause accelerated wear and tear and is not covered by the extended warranty.
– The ambient operating temperature must be within the range specified in the product’s technical documentation.
– Installation and use must be in accordance with the installation instructions, the data sheet and the intended use of the product.
– The product must not be used in chemically aggressive, high humidity or dusty environments if it has not been designed for this purpose.
– The use of appropriate surge protection in outdoor and industrial installations is recommended.
– The warranty is valid only if the product is correctly installed by a suitably qualified person, in accordance with the supplied installation instructions and the recommendations of the data sheet
Exceeding the above conditions may result in a limitation or loss of warranty protection.
4. Complaint procedure
– A complaint should be made in writing to the e-mail address: serwis@ledline.pl or via the retailer where the purchase was made.
– If the Purchaser of the product is a service company that both purchases and installs the product at the end customer’s premises, the obligation to register the product within 30 days of purchase rests with that company. The service company is obligated to complete the registration form and inform the end customer that the product is covered by a 7-year warranty.
– The end customer has the right to submit a complaint directly to the Guarantor, provided they have the necessary documents confirming the purchase and registration of the product (VAT invoice with registration confirmation). In the absence of these documents, the end customer is obligated to submit a complaint through the installation company (Buyer) that registered the product.
– In the application, please state:
– product name and catalogue number (index)
– the warranty claim number (given when registering the product for the 7-year warranty)
– description of the defect and the operating conditions,
– number of defective pieces.
– At the request of the Guarantor, the product must be delivered in the original or equivalent protective packaging to prevent damage in transit.
– The costs of delivery to the Service Point shall be borne by the Purchaser, while the costs of delivery of the repaired/replaced product to the Purchaser shall be borne by the Guarantor if the complaint is accepted.
– The Service Point will consider the complaint within 14 working days from the delivery of the complete application and product.
5. Scope of warranty
Under the guarantee, the Guarantor undertakes:
– to repair the defective product free of charge,
– or to replace it with a new defect-free unit,
– or – if the product is withdrawn from the offer – to offer a product with similar parameters or refund the purchase price.
Repair or replacement does not extend the warranty period.
6. Exclusions of warranty liability
The warranty does not cover:
– Mechanical damage occurring after the sale (impacts, cracks, flooding, etc.).
– Damage resulting from incorrect installation, use not in accordance with the instructions or intended use.
– Damage caused by overvoltage, lightning or inadequate power supply.
– Damage resulting from operating in conditions exceeding the permissible product parameters (temperature, humidity, pressure, IP).
– Natural wear and tear of materials (e.g. drop in LED luminous flux to 70% of the initial value).
– Failures where less than 10% of the luminous elements are damaged (e.g. individual LEDs).
– Independent repairs, modifications or interventions by unauthorised persons.
– Products without legible identification markings (serial number, LED line mark).
– Indirect damage resulting from malfunctions (lost profits, downtime, costs of removal and reinstallation).
7. Final provisions
– In matters not covered by this warranty, the provisions of Polish law shall apply.
– This warranty does not limit, exclude or suspend the Purchaser’s rights under the statutory warranty regulations for defects in sold goods.
– The product, which has not been registered for the extended warranty, is subject to its standard warranty (5 years).
