On April 19, 2023, the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Ostrołęka, financed from the budget of the City of Ostrołęka, carried out a modernization of the lighting system in two important sports facilities: the Arkadiusz Gołas Sports and Entertainment Hall and the Mieczysław Jan Mierzejewski Sports Hall.
As part of the modernization, LED line Phantom UFO High Bay fixtures with powers of 200W and 150W were used. These fixtures are characterized by a color temperature of 4000K and very high luminous efficacy of 180 lm/W. The use of High Bay fixtures allowed for achieving high-quality lighting, which is necessary for the proper functioning of sports facilities.
In addition, the use of LED technology allowed for a significant reduction in electricity consumption. The Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Ostrołęka recorded over 50% energy savings compared to the previous lighting system.
The project was implemented with regard to high standards of quality and reliability, confirmed by a 5-year warranty on LED line brand products.
This implementation is an example of a responsible approach to managing sports infrastructure, taking into account economic and ecological aspects, and underlines the City of Ostrołęka's commitment to improving conditions for the local sports community.
